    Renovations of the gallery space are underway, with the majority of the design work completed and the physical portion of the fit-out to be finished by end of 2025. 

    Meanwhile, the gallery team is creating Nine Fathom Deep’s exhibition programme for 2026. We are also exploring additional options for displaying work in the leadup to the space opening, which could materialize as virtual exhibitions or window displays. 

    Our Instagram ninefathomdeep will feature these events, as well as updates on the renovation progress.  

     

     

    Opening Exhibition – February 2026

    We will open our gallery with a themed group exhibition, reflecting on our gallery name and its wider contexts. It will provide an opportunity to feature a broad range of practices and expressions as a celebratory event appropriate for a first exhibition.

    Exhibition Programme

    Following the opening event, we anticipate to schedule changing exhibitions approximately every six weeks, alternating between curated themed shows and solo or small group shows. As part of our regular programme, we will also feature a small number of select exhibitions based on proposals.  

     

    Events Programme  

    Alongside our exhibition programming, we are planning to host other events – performances, concerts, talks, and literary events, intended to enrich our exhibition calendar and encourage additional audiences into our space.
