Iulia Boşcu & Will Gresson

Artists Iulia Boșcu (b. Romania) and Will Gresson (b. Aotearoa) have worked collaboratively since 2017. Their practice explores how sound, perception, and control intersect in everyday life.

Using collage as a primary methodology - layering, rupturing, and recomposing - they draw from experimental music, conceptual art, architecture, and psychoacoustics. Their work foregrounds the political dimensions of listening, considering how attention can operate as resistance, care, or coercion. Presented across both gallery and performance contexts, their practice continues to evolve across disciplines, formats, and locations.
