and Jetsam (Tipping Point) presents a tense moment of convergence, where elements
are held in fragile counterbalance.
Painted
and sanded back in layers, each interlocking piece embodies gesture (the storm)
and ritual (spirituality) — both deliberate (jetsam) and accidental (flotsam). Collected in a form
of sustained force, the work reflects the dynamics of transformation, a precarious
balance between intention and chance and a tipping point in the mariner’s
journey.
