Jenny Robinson is an established artist and master printmaker celebrated for her large-scale works on lightweight papers, drawn from the built environments where she has lived and worked.
Robinson’s practice is informed by a lifetime of geographic movement. Born in the United Kingdom and raised in Borneo, she has lived and worked in London, San Francisco, Slovenia and Australia and travels widely. She holds a BFA in Printmaking from the West Surrey College of Art and Design and has taught in several institutions in California.
Now based in Sydney, Robinson runs the atelier Jenny Robinson Print Studio. In 2019, she received the prestigious Mario Avati Prix de Gravure prize, recognising her outstanding contribution to contemporary printmaking. Her works are held in significant public and private collections.
