Will Hadwen is a Pōneke/ Wellington-based artist whose fluid approach spans photography, time-based media, immersive installation, painting, drawing and collaborative practice. His interdisciplinary work resonates with the qualities of light, space, trace, and time, creating environments that invite subtle shifts in perception.
Hadwen holds an MFA from Massey University in Te Whanganui-a Tara/ Wellington. Recent projects include his solo exhibition Red on Black with Hunters & Collectors, Negativland: Erebus with Ashburton Art Gallery and the group exhibitions Speak of Homeland with The Central Art Gallery. Hadwen is currently represented by The Central Art Gallery in Ōtautahi/ Christchurch
